Challenges of Implementing Eventdrive at PSI
Initially, the federation faced the challenge of increasing audience engagement during its World Congresses.
In 2017, the Communications team used Eventdrive's interactive application for the first time at its 30th World Congress.
Since 2018, the organization has also used the platform to digitize, centralize, and simplify event management.
The multilingual option and the ease of setting up a mini website were the main criteria that convinced our team to choose Eventdrive.

PSI’s Use of Eventdrive
Currently, the federation primarily uses Eventdrive for organizing statutory meetings and annual conferences. The platform enables them to:
- Quickly create multilingual websites
- Customize the branding of their events
- Manage registrations and attendees smoothly and independently
- Communicate with an international audience via email around the event
- Share confidential documents without making them public on their main website
- Boost participant engagement through interactive features at large-scale events
A dedicated account manager is also available to support the federation in their use of the tool.
Organization of PSI’s 31st World Congress
Six years after the previous edition, the federation organized its 31st World Congress with Eventdrive, utilizing it for Website Creation, Participant Management, as well as the Mobile App & Interactive Features.
The event in Geneva hosted approximately 1,400 people, including staff, technical teams, and interpreters. The Congress was interpreted into 17 languages, and the event was translated on Eventdrive into their six official languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Swedish, and Japanese).
In total, over 8,000 visitors accessed the website, generating nearly 34,000 views between August and October.
The interactive app also facilitated numerous interactions and reactions:
- 896 people connected to the app
- 520 contributions, including 487 photos through the Instaphoto feature
- 1,300 messages on the Networking feature
- Over 23,000 views of the app during the Congress (October 12–18, 2023)
